Adrian Sutil will have to put aside the criminal complaint and avoid crossing paths with plaintiff Eric Lux after the Renault co-owner sued the German driver for assault following an incident in Shanghai.
Force India has offered the 28-year-old its support ahead of the weekend in Spain even as Sutil took the decision to "use every available means to clarify his position and clear his name."
The Silverstone-based outfit however has no intentions of replacing the driver despite the issue although it admittedly is scrutinising the current situation.
"Force India Formula 1 Team is aware of the statements made by both its driver, Adrian Sutil, and Mr. Eric Lux of Genii Capital, pertaining to events following the Chinese Grand Prix," read a statement from the squad.
"Although the team continues to monitor the situation, it remains fully committed to its driver line-up at this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix," it added.
